Many visit The Stanley Arms Pub and Restaurant as part of a lazy day out spotting wildlife in the lush green fields at the Marbury and Anderton Country Parks.

The two beautiful country parks are teeming with wildlife and fauna and its circular routes are ideal for young and old alike. You can enjoy the parks on foot, by cycle or even on horseback - free from the worries of the busy outside world. The walks are pram and wheelchair friendly and therefore suitable for all the family.

Many of those who visit the Anderton Boat Lift Centre take lunch at The Stanley Arms and then spend the afternoon discovering the Nature Parks and the meandering Trent and Mersey Canal that flows through them.

Five minutes walk away is the historic River Weaver Navigation. Take to its towpath and Northwich Town Centre is only thirty minutes away with its black and white buildings.
