The Stanley Arms overlooks the Anderton Boat Lift Centre. Built in 1875 and restored in 2002, The Lift is now fondly known as “The Cathedral of the Canals”. With over 100,000 visitors a year, the Boat Lift offers visitors a great experience. Its new exhibition is great for the kids. You can even jump on a boat and have a ride through the lift. And after lunch at The Stanley Arms - why not take a walk through the Northwich Community Woodlands which includes Marbury and Anderton Country Parks?
